How to Get Involved

Fill Out The New Volunteer Form
After filling out the form, we will contact you directly for more details about your skills and your availability.

Complete Background Checks
Wabi Sabi requires all volunteers to pass background checks because we work with children and families. See the below information about background check clearances.

Show up!
Add the Wabi Sabi Upcycling Google calendar to your calendar app to see upcoming volunteer opportunities to attend.
Required Clearances
For the safety of our community, volunteers will not be approved to work until all required documents are submitted. Clearances must be current (issued within the past five (5) years).
Required clearances include:
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- PA State Police Criminal Record Check
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance if required*
*Volunteers who have been PA residents for the entire previous 10 years may submit an Unpaid Volunteer Affidavit (click here) instead of the FBI clearance, consistent with state guidance.
